"A DIFFERENT BEHAVIOR"
The 1970s as context for terrorist violence
Imagen - Antiterroristas.cu
Although Bush never would say so, the mid1970s serve as background for today’s “war on terrorism.” That’s the time his dad led the CIA and anti-Castro Cubans bombed and shot their way through the hemisphere. The leading star of the 1970s terrorist show, and still performing, was Luis Posada Carriles. President Bush said after the 9/11 attacks: “He who harbors a terrorist is as guilty as the terrorist.” It’s lucky we have a president for whom words are meaningless!
The Truth Is Ours

Fernando Gonzalez Llort, one of the Cuban Five anti-terrorists held in US prisons shares his views with Granma. "In my statement to the court, when I was unjustly sentenced to 19 years in prison in December of 2001, I stated that there is no "good terrorism" or "bad terrorism;" there is just terrorism, and it has to be fought. However, when it comes to Cuba things are different, and that is why individuals like Orlando Bosch, Rodolfo Frometa, Jose A. Llama enjoy total impunity."

‘War against terror’ conceals record of deceit, corruption, incompetence

Serious terrorism merits public concern and dialogue. How long can the Bush Administration use the “war against terror” to conceal a record of deceit, corruption and incompetence? Saul Landau's article published in Progreso Weekly
Terrorist's Best Defense

If you're a Cuban-American caught redhanded in illegal activities, there's a great defense these days. Just claim that you're trying to kill Fidel Castro or overthrow the Cuban government. Proclaim that you're just loyally carrying out the policy that Washington has pursued ever since the Cuban Revolution. You might even threaten to subpoena government documents and officials. Or you could threaten to start revealing secrets about the government's terrorist activities. Jane Franklin's article published in Z-Net.
