An Astonishing Expression of Hatred: Visas to Drug Trafficker Family, But Not to Cuban Five Families
The level of hatred that US leaders exhibit towards the Cuban Revolution is beyond imagination. Nothing compares to the treatment that common criminals and “acceptable” terrorists receive in the United States as opposed to that of the five Cuban prisoners incarcerated for fighting against terrorism. The most sadistic of the many punishments inflicted upon them is the psychiatric torture applied in preventing visits of their close relatives. The United States embassy in Colombia has granted visas to two children of a drug trafficker, yet continues to deny the same to two wives of the Cuban Five.

Cuban Foreign Ministry Statement: Stop the Hostility Against the Cuban Five & Their Families
The US has once again denied the visa requests of two of the wives of the Cuban Five citing their comments in defense of their husbands as a "political campaign" against the US government. The Cuban Foreign Ministry here responds to this latest denial of international human rights saying that nothing could be more absurd than this ridiculous excuse to further punish the five Cubans and their families.
